I am unable to delete photos I go to photos and go to gallery I click on select I select photos I click on trash can and the photos are still there yikes

Managing the photos on your phone should be easy to do, so I know this must be frustrating for you. Let's gather some additional information to figure this out. When you access the gallery, do the pictures you're trying to delete have an icon on them? If so, please describe what the icon looks like. Also, after selecting some photos and clicking the trash, have you tried restarting the phone to see if the photos are still present?

What happens if you long-press on a photo?
On my G4, long-pressing allows me to Share, Delete, Lock, Rename or get Details.
Maybe this picture is "Locked"?
Try the method above for deleting a picture.

Didn't work
When I go into the gallery, I don't have an option to select multiple photos and do an action. Are you sure you are in the gallery and not some file manager application?
