New 6.0 iPhone Set-up

Can't get access to restricted websites as in past on other iPhone (5.0) by typing in my code.  Only sites that will open if I select something from an email or Facebook, are Apple or Verizon related.

What do I have to setup to get it working correctly?

Does it have anything to go with the fact that my SIM card keeps locking up.  I have successfully unlocked it, but still can't get access to Internet when I click on something of interest.  Sites are all restricted, & entering my code doesn't help.
