Anyone know why Verizon discontinued the wireless charging cover for the Droid 4?

Recently my charge port for the Droid 4 stopped allowing a charge for the battery. Looking online, I have found references to an inductive battery cover for the Droid 4 - MOTDRD4-WLDR. To date, I cannot find a single one for purchase. I can find a bunch of covers for the Droid 3 - but none available for the Droid 4.

Does anyone have any information that may help me?

I Usually can find anything, but this whipped me. I found old adds, but nothing in over a year.

i Can't even find a battery adapter that fits under your existing cover. :smileysad:

Same here, every link, post, ad, reference...all went to an expired Verizon page. Seems Verizon was the only seller of that charging cover and no longer offers it. I also searched eBay and Amazon to no avail.
