Although the following incident occurred shortly after upgrading my iphone 6 to ios 9, it is not listed as a possible result of the upgrade on any Apple sites. The day after I had upgraded, my callers were being told my number had been disconnected and the calls did not register in my recent calls. I called Verizon and was told my phone had been reported lost or stolen. I obviously had made no such report.
Although Verizon promptly restored my call service, I want answers as to what made this happen. I don't know what other callers got the disconnect message.
