I want my next cell phone to have less of the bells and whistles I never use. Is the Motorola Moto X Pure compatible with the Verizon cell network and will it be able to use Verizon's Advanced Calling 1.0?

This is copied and pasted from the Android Central forums in the FAQ thread and confirmed with Motorola's Forum's Manager (Matt) in the provided link. Cheers! Will VOLTE work out of the box on Verizon?
Yes, moto support confirmed this. Also confirmed on the official moto forums.https://forums.motorola.com/posts/a702ec688a

You didn't provide any sort of clear straight forward answer to the question asked. The link you provided doesn't even list the MXPE.
Only phones that Verizon sells with advanced calling preinstalled are going to work.
I would not believe it till it is confirmed. Not on what Motorola says.
Where is 5.1.1 for Moto x 2014 if this is a fix. I was told 5.0 and 5.1 would fix advanced calling. After a year it still doesn't work don't believe it tiil it is confirmed by a user on Verizon.

Advanced calling works on the Moto X Pure (2015). It does not yet, however, have WiFi calling support on Verizon.
I have Advanced Calling enabled and it works as expected.
So, how do I ensure that I have it turned on? I don't see it in my settings
Settings --> More --> Cellular Networks. Make sure "Enhanced 4G LTE Mode" is enabled. This turns Advanced Calling on and off. I can confirm with it on, my voice calls are "HD" Calls when I talk to another compatible Verizon phone.
