Note 4 update

My Note 4 was updated last week. Ever since the update I receive approx. 200 new contacts in my contact folder. I have to manually delete each one of them. Once last week and twice today. Contacts added are email addresses. Some are from people I don't even know. This is frustrating. It needs to get fixed ASAP.

3grlsjr, repeat contacts make for a lot of work. Let's see why this is happening so your fingers can rest. Have you added a new email account to the phone? Any new applications recently? When deleteing these contacts are you doing so through the phone or the Verizon Cloud online?

I have not added a new email address nor apps. I have been deleting these added contacts through my phone not the cloud. I have recently unsubscribed to junk email and I have recently "turned off" apps my Note 4 came with.

Another thing...I check the LED box in Display Settings so I may be notified when I have received a message. It somehow "unchecks" itself after a few days and I have to recheck it. It will not stay "checked."

In review of my resources, I see that post software update isssues like the ones outlined in your posts have been resolved by others with a factory reset. Please follow steps at this link http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-121760/ to perform a factory reset. Please ensure the disable Automatic Restore as per this link http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-122208/ while performing the factory reset. Keep us posted.
