How do I change my voicemail message to a standard greeting with my name?

I switched to the iPhone recently and my voicemail had changed - a lot of the options I had mysteriously disappeared with the only options being to change my password and language. I want to change my voicemail message so it plays an automated message with my name recorded (not the personal greeting or phone number one). I don't see this on the voicemail app on my iPhone either -- what happened?

MAybe I just like a goofy, but functional flowchart....

Hi, I've seen that flowchart but most of those options do not work, other than to change the language. Any other key I press and it just says "you have pressed an incorrect key."

If you tap the 'phone' icon on the bottom of the iPhone screen does it let you then tap 'voicemail' in the lower right, and then 'greeting' in the upper left? This should allow you to record your own greeting.

how to change your voicemail via Iphone:

From the Home screen, tap Phone.
Tap the Voicemail tab then tap Greeting (located in the upper-left).
Greeting is located in the top-left corner of screen.
Tap Custom to record a greeting.
Tap Record to begin recording the custom greeting message.
Tap Stop to end recording then tap Save.
Save is located in the top-right corner of screen.
