I recently tried to upgrade a device on my line. My family and I have been customers Verizon for quite some time now. When I went to upgrade my sons line they ask me to pay $350 as a down payment. Considering we have been loyal customers for at least seven years now and our bills have been roughly $400 a month for the last year now. My husband was grandfathered into the unlimited data plan so we have to be very careful on the choices we make so that he does not lose that service. However I simply cannot afford to pay $400 a month for a cell phone bill and then pay another $350 to that same company for a phone that I need to pay that bill. I felt no sense of customer loyalty. I think that considering a new company might be in my best interest. Has anybody else had problems with Verizon and their customer care? This just seems unfair. Thank you for your time.
