What is the best, cheapest way to buy the jetpack AC791L??

I want to buy the jetpack for $200 full retail price.

VZW store says I need to sign up for a new account.

VZW online says I can order it and just cancel service the minute I get it. The latter will allow me to keep the device since I paid full price for it with no ETF.

Is the online order and cancel method the cheapest way? I don't want to be in the hook for activation fees since I just need the hardware and zero service.

I am going through these loops because the device is not available anywhere else

@Ninjaa you are asking some great questions. We do want to assist you with getting that device. You would have the ability to pay full retail price and purchase this device. If the device was never activated (removed from the box) you would not need to pay an activation fee.
