Error message when charging battery.

My Samsung Galaxy S4 keeps saying: "to charge faster, use the original charger that came with tje phone". Duh

...guess what? It is the original charger. SO WHAT TO DO NEXT?!?! IDK

TY VERY MUCH FOR YOUR INPUT. I'M GUESSING I NEED NEW PHONE AND/OR CHARGER SO THEREFORE MUST CONTACT STORE WHERE PHONE WAS PURCHASED-right?

This is certainly concerning Deborah. Visiting the store with the device and the charger/cord can definitely help resolving the issue. We may also get to the root cause here. When did the issue start? Did it start after updating/installing any particular application? Any physical/water damage to the phone or charger/cord?
