What phone are we talking about? Any "patches" or updates for a phone's firmware come via over-the-air process, if not also by the Verizon Software Update Assistant on the phone (when you plug it into a PC USB) or by manually tapping "Software Update" in About Phone in main settings.
So your answer to your question is that you have an LG G3?
I have the Galaxy S4. I stopped by Best Buy yesterday and they said the upgrade hasn't been rolled out yet for my phone so I still have a little wait before I can see if this fixes the problems. Thanks for all the help you give to folks on this forum! I see a lot of your responses here.
