FamilyBase Texting App

Hello Verizon forums! I have a question about the FamilyBase service. If my child uses a different texting app, such as "Textra", will that still use all the settings and have the same features as if he was using the normal texting app?

Family base is a great feature to use. What were you looking to set up withtheir text messaging? Are you looking to set limit amounts or time restrictions?
