Is Samsung Galaxy S6 going to get the 5.1.1 update sometime this year for Verizon?? Sprint and T-Mobile have had it for a while now as well as the rest of the planet! What is taking so long?

Verizon is the original slow old lady.....they haven't yet figured out away to screw the consumer with this update.

Julie: I was trying to buy a new Samsung S6 Edge the other day and was told they were not currently selling them because of the security issues. I just checked the verizon support site and it still appears the lollipop update is unavailable. Are the S6 Edges still off the market and when will the update for the security and screen issues going to become resolved.

Julie: yes because s4 is cracked on the screen in 2 places keeps heating up and disconnecting my calls

Julie: meanwhile I'm stuck with a broken phone that is basically useless and support can't say when update is released. Will be looking for different carrier and phone manufacturer as a result. Thank you for your assistance.

True, the update will be available one day, just not right now on Verizon.
At least in which century that day is going to come would be nice to know.
lol yeah idk what Verizon is waiting for.. apparently though AT&T is also updating at the speed of snail. So at least Verizon isn't the sole culprit of holding back on it's clientele.
