Lost recent contacts.

I had to do a restore to factory state on my phone. I did a google back up on my phone prior to the restore. When it recovered, it backed up a contact list from over a year ago. Then it overwrote all the contacts with the older list. I have checked the trash bin on the V. cloud and on google with no luck. Is there a way of restoring a backup from last week and where would I find that?

GwenoftheIsland, this is very concerning that you are not able to get the contacts. Let's work together to find where those contacts are located. Before you did the factory data reset, do you recall if all the contacts was back up at time? Did you back up any contacts to Google?
