Hello, ive been trying to block a certain phone number for about a half hour. I watched a video from Verizon and what do ya know i dont have the options as the guy in the video does.
Your android device may have auto reject ability built in.
open the dialer app,
select the log for the number you want blocked.
tap the menu option.
Select the auto reject option.
open messages app
select the messages from the person you want blocked
tap the menu option
select add to spam numbers
your phone may not have these options or they may be slightly different on your model phone.
is your phone in prepaid? because if it is on prepaid, there are no features that can block any certain number. if in any case you try to call customer service, the only option for them is to block all numbers who will try to contact your number because that is the only option that they do have on their system or you can do a restriction on your phone but it will also do the same thing. (blocking all outgoing calls/incoming calls/ outgoing text/incoming text). so in this kind of situation, the only option most of the representatives are offering is to download Mr.Number. this is a third party application that you can download in order to spam any messages or block a certain number. hope I help you somehow :smileyhappy:
