Hi I need assistance with my phone galaxy 6 edge it is running really slow and I've deleted stuff scanned it over and over and I don't know what to do please help me

It started about a month ago. To my knowledge nothing happened to it damage
wise. When i use my phone most of the time it runs slowly , take a long
time to kick t the lock screen when I try to unlock it when I text the
speed doesn't keep up

I too experienced something similar with my S6 Edge a few months ago. Not sure if these may apply to you, but when things got really slow with the functions you mentioned, I noticed that my internal storage was at its limit.Another possible point can be that certain apps can also affect your phone's performance.
How much storage do you have free at the moment?
With regards to the text experience, do you currently have Swift Key enabled, or Swype?
I personally switched to just the Samsung keyboard, and the lag was reduced quite a bit.
Ultimately, after I performed a factory reset, as well as wiped the Cache Partition, my phone went back to normal. I haven't turned on Swift Key to test, but all is working well.

(Try just the Wipe Cache Partition step first to see if this helps improve your phone's speed. Use the Factory Reset after trying all of the other steps)
One other bit to keep in mind is your battery mode. Under Settings > Battery > If you have Power Save Mode active, it can slow down your phone just a bit. However, after doing all of the above, personally, my phone still works very well for texting and accessing menus, apps, shortcuts, etc with it on
