Any ideas on what may suddenly be causing my GS3 to not send text messages? I can receiving SMS and MMS messages just fine. No problems with phone calls.
I rebooted my phone several times, switched it to wifi only, then mobile data only, rebooted with each change attempt and no change. Switched my data mode (global being the default) and no change after attempts with this. Removed SIM card - no change. Stopped and restarted the messaging service, cleared data and cache for it - no change. Cleared RAM - no change. Deleted old messages (problem conversations as well as other conversations) - no change. Switched and tried again with the google messenger app - no change.
Working off of strong 4Glte signal if not wifi.
Android version 4.4.2
Phone model: Samsung Galaxy S 3 (SCH-I535)
Signal strength -95 dBm 45 asu

No error messages.
I noticed is that an error message that used to come up with each reboot (some function related to google+) no longer appears as of the latest updates to the google apps. Noting this, I tried uninstalling the updates for these apps - still no change.
Other than that, only apps that are part of the android OS and such have updated recently.
The only thing I haven't done is a factory reset, which I am trying to avoid as much as possible.
