My Samsung note 4 has a crossed out 4G LTE in the notifications bar and I do not know how to fix any recommendations?
Is the cellular data connection turned on in the settings? The crossed out symbol usually means it was manually turned off.
Gotmegood, we need to get your 4G LTE back up and running for you. How long ago did this start to appear on the device? Have you been able to power off the phone and remove the back cover and pull the battery and the sim card out for a good 30 seconds: http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-123912/ and then re-test the service again. Please keep us posted.

I have a Samsung S4. I was in an area with no 4g service most of the sat today, but now that I am back home and have 3 of 5 bars of service I should have my 4g back but it is grayed out and crossed out. I restarted it and removed the battery and Sim card for 30 seconds but that did not help. I have 2 other phones on this plan that are not having this problem.
Please help.
Thank you!
We definitely want you to have the 4G speed you are accustomed to, A. Davison. I’m ready to help you, I have a few questions. Can you make/receive calls? Are you able to use the Internet? Are you connected to Wi-Fi?DeloresKVZWFollow us on Twitter VZWSupportIf my response answered your question please click theCorrectAnswer button under my response. Good morning!
I can make and receive calls and texts.
I can also connect to my wifi, just no 4g.... I don't know if I
accidentally did something to the phone.

I cannot connect to the Internet when I turn off my wifi.
As far as turning on that mobile data option, doesn't that allow apps, etc to download when you have no Internet connection, causing you to use more data? Just asking because the tech guy at Verizon told me to turn it off when I wasn't over wifi. Any comments?
Having mobile data turned on will allow apps and other processes to run in the background which does use data. If you are concerned about using too much data make sure you stay on an active wifi network when you can and change the settings in the app store to download and update apps over wifi only. You can also change settings in email, for example, to sync messages less frequently.
Hope those helps.
