my S5 status shows -110dBm and 30 asu within 5 feet of network extender. Is this cause poor phone connections?
Thanks for your suggestion. I have upgraded to Galaxy S7 which does not require the network extender.
What network type is displayed on the phone when this is seen? If the network type is "LTE" the extenders do not currently handle that network type.
If you see "EvDo-Rev.A" or "1xRTT" then the extender may need some help.
You should be able to boot your S5 to the extender by placing a call, and then going to an area of your home that lacks LTE service. Basements are good at that.
