I am having issues with my speak to text when trying to send a text message. I have to continually press the microphone off and on and sometime hit the x button to close it then hit the microphone again for it to recognize that I am speaking. Please help
Hello Bondfire! Let's get your voice to text back in proper order again for you. When did this trouble begin for you? Is this trouble persisting with all applications or only when trying to send a text message? Are you using the native original text message app or a third party app? Share details. Thanks in advance.

It happens with other apps some but i mostly recognize it with text messaging. I don't use any other messaging apps just the standard messaging that comes on the phone.

Got it, thanks for clearing that up for us. Let's keep working on this and make sure your device is working as it should. How long has this be going on exactly? Since this started happening have there been any changes to the device such as new apps, app updates or software updates?

Probably at least a month now. Apps are always updating. Couldn't really say which ones other than most of them. No new software updates recently. Last software update was Oct 2015. I use the phone for real basic stuff. Internet for a few things and then text and phone calls. I don't do any games or social media.
