I can't get my phone pictures onto my computer with a cable, so I've resorted to using the Verizon Cloud platform. I have a Motorola Maxx.
When I upload my pictures onto the cloud (which can take several hours), they are out of order even when I click the "created date" option.
Anyway, they are at least sorted by month. So I'm trying to download them onto my laptop in month-to-month files. This also takes several hours. And the Cloud keeps signing me out because my sessions are expired, so sometimes my download gets interrupted.
Overall this has been a major headache. I have no space on my phone because I don't want to delete my pictures until I know I can get them safely out of the cloud. So I can't take any more pictures, and even my text messages don't come through.
Is there an easier way to do this? I've even gone into the Verizon store and they 1) can't figure out how to get my photos uploaded with a cable, and 2) can't suggest an easier way to get my pictures out of the cloud.
I tried downloading the desktop app for Mac but this seems to be more for backing up my laptop files.
All I want to do is to get my pictures off my phone and onto my computer!
Any advice about Cloud would be welcome as that's the platform I'm dealing with (unfortunately, because it is not intuitive at all but I'm too deep in with most of my photos already uploaded to it).
Thank you.
