You asked a couple of different questions....moving from a Windows phone to Android is a change, for sure. If all your contacts are backed up to Verizon, when you activate the Verizon cloud on the new phone it should sync the contacts for you...in my experience, the cloud has recognized that I have activated a new device and prompts me to sync the contacts it has backed up.
Have you downloaded and opened the Verizon cloud app on the new phone?
Only about one third of my contacts came through. Even some family contacts that I talk to every week didn't come through. What should I try now? Thanks for any help to get my contacts back.
If your contacts are in your Google account, you can sync them to the Windows device when you add the Google account to the device.
