Core Prime email

Recently got the Core Prime and set up my email on it. There was no problem with setup.

The problems comes after.

1) If I delete email from the phone but not the server, the next sync brings that mail back in again. I don't want to delete the email from the server (keep for reference) but don't necessarily need to access that particular email on the phone.

2) I will read emails and keep them...the next sync will randomly mark read emails as unread.

Congrats on getting the Core Prime mrjam2jab! It’s an awesome smartphone with a huge array of features. I’m glad to read that you were able to setup your email without any issues. May I ask are you using the default email app or a 3rd party app? Keep in mind that the default email application is designed to sync any emails that are present in your inbox. This includes emails that you deleted on the device but chose to keep on the server. A good work around is to create a folder and have the emails that you want to keep move to the folder. Also, keep in mind that if the read emails are marked as unread on the computer then they will be re-synced as unread. As far as the sync service, I wanted to clarify that the device is working exactly as it should.

It is the default app. When there is only 8 gb of storage and the "System" uses up 4.5gb that doesn't leave much space for external apps.

1. I kind of figured that sync was working properly...I just like that my last phone didn't work that way.

2. The "new" emails are definitely not set as new on the computer. They are emails that I read back in March, April, May, etc.

I really appreciate you confirming these details. We want to make sure everything starts working the way it should. What type of email account is it? Was it this way from the time you got the phone or did it start later?

this is internet based email...webmail.juno.com.

It has been doing it since day 1. I've only had the phone since end of October.
