Is anyone else having problems with their Eris since the 2.1 update? I have had my Eris since December, 2009 and absolutely loved it. Since the 2.1 update I cannot use my phone at all. It's frozen/crashed three times in the past 10 days. I talked to Verizon customer service and we had to do a hard reboot each time. I lost all my contacts the first time but fortunately I saved them to my Google account prior to the last to crashes. I have taken all the apps off my phone and it sporadically works. My biggest complaint is making phone calls. The screen goes blank and I cannot hear the caller nor can they hear me. If I dial a phone number the keys lag for so long. I am really frustrated!!! Other than taking it back to the Verizon store, does anyone have any tips to share about overcoming these challenges? I basically have my phone to be in contact with my daughter should there be an emergency and I can't get calls - ugh!!!
