How do I cancel asurion wireless phone protection?

I received a notice today about changes with my Asurion insurance charges for my Verizon cell phone. While the monthly fee would drop a few cents, the insurance deduction would increase $4.00. Realizing that I could replace my old Samsung flip phone for less than $49.00, I decided to log into My Verizon to cancel this insurance coverage as the notice stated but did not give details. I FOUND IT. I went to My Plan, Products and Apps, and found the Asurion program. It was very hard to find put I did finally find it. There you will find a small black "x" within a circle "O" for remove this program removes it from your account. I hope this helps.
