I recently changed accounts with my internet provider, and haven't been able to access my WiFi network since. Any suggestions/advice? Device is an Android Max.
Sounds like a router issue. Have you started there? Do hardwired devices access the Internet successfully? Can the phone find your network name? Is the router set up and working?
The router is set up and on. Laptop and desktop have connected, and the network shows up on the phone. When I try to connect, I get an "obtaining" or "authenticating" message. At one point a message said connection failed to avoid a poor connection, so I unchecked that option under advanced settings, but still no change. Hmmmm.
Try Advanced Wifi menu and select push button WPS or WPS PIN. Press the button on the router or enter the PIN from the back of the router if it has one. Make sure your password is entered correctly, and check CAPS. Also check to see if you are broadcasting on 2.4 or 5 ghz.
