When will verizon make available a newer mini size phone? The Droid mini and other mini phones available are all from 2013.
I Don't think any of the manufacturers are making mini phones. The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini was the last one I remember. The problem with the mini versions is they are poor copies of the larger original. Slower speeds, lower specs.
Also, consumer demand is for larger phones. The phablets are very popular.
Yeah there are trade offs but the bigger phones are unwieldy, especially for keeping in your pocket AT&T offers a Galaxy S5 mini. Guess I should go with them. Verizon as usual disappoints.
The Samsung S5 mini is still pretty large. It's 1/4 inch shorter and 3/8 inch narrower and 2/3 of an ounce lighter.
And you don't just lose size, you lose processing speed And battery life.
IF you want small, you might have to look at the iPhone 5s.
