Pop up google play ads?

Hello all, since the update 2 months back my wife and I have been dealing with ads from google play poping up when we try to enter an app on our home screens like texting and email. Has this happened to anyone else? Verizon services told me to call google but we get transfered from office to office and when we get a real person they don't understand English. Please help.

Sounds like you have an app, 3rd party at play. Start your device in Safe Mode. If the problem goes away, it's a 3rd party app, if it remains, you have another issue. Google "Verizon "your device" safe mode" or, tell use the device you are using.

I am having the same problem. I have been searching for a solution but have yet to find one.

Hello again, I have found the culprit app that used my home screen widgets to start pop up adds. Like I mentioned two phones had the same issue so it was easier to troubleshoot the issue. The app that was causing the problem was Music paradise downloader. I am now add free from my home screen. Thank you Snn5.
