Unfortunately email has stopped error message

I have an LG phone that yesterday started with this constant "unfortunately email has stopped message." When I go into the application manager, it does not give me the option to disable or force stop (they are there, but not functional). I have two accounts on my phone - one is my personal Hotmail account, and the other is a work email account. I've tried shutting down the phone, and I need help. Thanks!

Phillyfilly54, have no fear, help is here! It’s puzzling that your emails all of a sudden stopped working but no worries. We will absolutely look into what’s causing this. How long has this been happening? What’s the model of the LG phone you have? May I have the zipcode of where you are located?

My phone is a Lucid 3. I've numerous problems with this phone, and my husband has the same phone with none of these issues. My battery constantly runs down too.

I am located in 19111.

I appreciate any help as this is driving me crazy. Every time I try to do anything on the phone, this error message keeps popping up.

Try removing (deleting) the email account (s), (NOT the app) restart the phone and the re-add the account(s) back in. You will not lose any of the emails, but it may take some time to re-sync the account back to the phone.
