Verizon doesn't seem to have it together

I am trying out the Verizon Prepaid service. It is disappointing to say the least. Speeds and connection are ok but thats about it. No email service and it seems they avoid any real contact with their customers from the website. Everything in the support seems elusive. They say they gave me an extra free GB of data but it slowly reduced itself back down to original plan. I was thinking it was going to be the best, but I am definitely going to look elsewhere after this experience.

Say you have a 1GB plan, 2GB on autopay: If you use 1GB, you have 1GB left. The math seems to work. Verizon doesn't have an email address for postpaid either. True, there i no support for Prepaid, but there is not much more for Postpaid. It's the same service, less features, cheaper per month.

To clarify about the missing data, when I activated my sim, i received a text from Verizon stating they were giving me a bonus GB of data. This was cool considering I switched providers to have better internet when im out of city areas. I have been watching my data usage intently to make sure i have what i need. When i first started my account, it said i had used 0 - 2048Gb of data. This would be correct and accurate. Over the course of my first day, I watched that number drop from 2048, to 1500, to 1024 for no apparent reason. It is just gone. When i wrote that post last night it was 900 - 1024, now i barely have enough even to be here now to troubleshoot without it dropping down to edge speeds. I was carefully planning to have a full GB more to work with. Its a little weird to complain about free data, but when it disappears for no reason when you were planning to have it available, its a huge inconvenience. It would have been easier for me to plan on it not being there in the first place because i would have used my data differently.

I wanted to let customer support know directly, but they seem to elude you to come here first and let it be known publicly. I dont understand why Verizon does this. A rep has posted the number in a reply, but i could not conveniently find this number when i was looking around in the contact section.

Verizon has good coverage, which may be the only reason why I might consider staying. Not sure if others would be any better.

The phone number you gave me doesnt help with anything. Just takes you to an automated service with tons of press tone menus and no option to speak to a representative. What a joke.

The number is in the Contact Us page. You HAVE to listen to all the choices in the automated menu though. HAVE TO. Typically, as I have been told, you see 0MB use until the use is updated, which takes a few days, almost like once a week. Some see 0 use of 1024MB or 2048MB until they use 1024MB, then it kicks in. Mine however, I see 2048MB and see 1.87GB left with a week to go. I also use a sideloaded My Verizon Mobile App apk version 11.0.2. The widget actually works for Prepaid now. I also use my phone's data usage meter, which is pretty spot on accurate and also disable tons of background data using apps.

You dont seem to understand what the problem is, thus you are not helping. I appreciate the effort though. I understand how its supposed to work, but it is not working that way. I have a Gb of missing data. I am happy it is working well for you.

What menu do i reach the end of to get to a rep? Because ive been digging through and cant find it.
