Yes ... instead of using the Youtube application, for the interim, use your internet browser and go to the Youtube website.
You should then be able to watch the videos that way.
There is apparently a bug with the Youtube application. It will play some video but not most. Until the bug is fixed, it's better to just go straight to the website rather than use the application. ----You can always create a button on your screen that takes you directly to that site.
