I just got a new s5 and my memory is low. Under miscellaneous files there is 5G. Is it safe to delete them?
Yes. The system files that are in Misc are protected.

Let's make sure we get your phone back on track. Most of those miscellaneous files the phone doesn't need. You can tap on it and it will show you what the files are. That way you see what is occupying the space.
