I dropped my phone last night, and while the screen didn't shatter, it's definitely not working.
How can I recover my text messages (I've uses SMS Backup before sucessfully) when I can't see the screen to operate the app?
What phone? What were you using for messaging, which app specifically?
Samsung Galaxy S4. Using the native messaging app.
Do you back it up using Samsung Kies or Switch on your computer or to an online Samsung account?
Dropping your device and having the screen go dead is devastating, annamariegk. Have you ever backed up through the Verizon Cloud? If so, your text messages may already be backed up there. To check, download the Verizon Cloud. http://vz.to/220jXqz

I have no idea if they had ever been backed up to the cloud.

Let’s download the Verizon Cloud and check to see if your messages are there, annamariegk. Here is how: http://vz.to/220jXqz
Ok. I have Verizon Cloud, with 5 gb of storage. But I don't see where I can
access my messages.
