I out my SIM back in and turn on phone. It's not connecting to a network. It won't let me use the phone or text anyone. What do I need to do.
SIM cards can become corrupted - if removing and reinserting the SIM doesn't restore your network connection, then visit a corporate store and pick up a new one (or call Customer Service if there is not one near you). You can have one shipped; SIM cards are free at corporate stores. If they try to charge you, it's likely a third party retailer.
Do you get a signal indicator with an exclamation mark or does it show zero connectivity? You can check under Settings – More Options or More Settings – About Phone – Mobile Networks – Signal Strength. Is this a new phone?
Kellipeter, we can give you the help that you need. Which make/model phone do you have? When did this issue start? What happens when you try to place an outbound call on that phone?
