Does roaming stay on automatically of you have an intl plan on your phone? it won't turn off. I don't want to get hit with some outrageous charge. Never had before, not sure how it works. thanks.

Avoiding roaming fees is certainly a must. No worries, we will provide you with more details to ensure you are on the correct plan while abroad. You phone will always display roaming while outside of the U.S. I it is the charges that will vary depending on your international plan. It is certainly cheaper if you have a global plan to avoid from being charged the pay as you go rate which can be more expensive. If you would like to prevent data usage, it is best to turn data off from your phone settings so it can be restricted to WIFI only when available. If you do have an international plan that covers voice, messaging and data, I would not worry. This plan will cover for your roaming usage.
