Can I set different notifications for different contacts?

Question

Does anyone know if there's a way to set individual notifications for separate contacts when they text you? I know with my Galaxy S5 using their pre-installed messaging app and settings I was able to do so and it was really convenient to have the feature. I currently have an LG G4 through Verizon and I'm not able to do so anymore. Is this perhaps something we could expect in an update?
