Text messages not going through to one person

Trying to text my dad, messages not getting to him. I can receive from him, but not vice versa. I can send and receive from everyone else. Tried reinstalling messages app, tried re-entering his contact info, still not working. He is on ATT. Any ideas?

Are either of you on an iPhone? If so, have either of you recently switched to Android?

I appreciate your input nicholas_g. Tonlyvw1973 are you able to confirm if you had an Android in the past and moved to iPhone or vis versa? Are you able to send messages to anyone else?
