I just got the Nexus 6 and I can't figure out when I'm on Facebook or Facebook Messenger how to use the little widgets (smiley faces, etc). Can you help please?

Facebook app is the screen that looks like your page and feed. Messenger looks similar to your stock messaging app with contacts and message threads in a vertical line. Messenger is required with FB app now to message anyone. The circles with faces on every screen are "chat heads" and indicate someone you are messaging with.
