How do I reset my device with a frozen screen?

One of my phones screen is frozen on YouTube. I have tried turning the phone off but it won't shut off just stuck. Any advice before I take it in?

If the battery is removable, try removing it for a few minutes. If it isn't removable, try holding the power button down for at least 10 seconds and see if that reboots the phone. Another option is to hold the power and volume down buttons simultaneously for 15-30 seconds and see if that reboots the phone.
