Restore contacts from Cloud

While trying to get my calendar to sync correctly with my Google account, I managed to delete all my contacts on my LG G3.  I can see all the contacts in my cloud account when I go out there from my computer, but I can't get them to restore to my phone.  If I try to use the restore tool in the Cloud app, there's no option for restoring contacts.  After several attempts to sync by using the sync button on the web interface, it finally restored 7 of the 129 contacts, but that's it.  Why is it so difficult to try and restore my contacts from the Cloud?

grodech – we want to ensure you’re able to get all of your contacts back onto your device. I welcome the opportunity to assist you with this. Restoring those contacts should be a relatively easy task but in the event it isn’t cooperating we do need to find out where the disconnect lies.  It does appear your device is only performing a backup via the sync and not a restore which is why it’s only syncing the 7 present numbers that come default in your phone.  While using the cloud application in your phone to restore it usually scans for all backed up content but the Contacts are now in a separate field that doesn’t appear during that scan. You should have a Contacts option in your menu. Once you click on that option, you should see all of your backed up contacts and you can press on the 3 dots to choose the Back Up Now in order restore them to your device.
