Can't disconnect the integrated messaging on messaging+

Help! I linked my LG Gpad to my Galaxy 4 for texting, now I want to disconnect the link but I keep getting an error message that I have to contact the account owner in order to change permissions. I am the owner, how do I get rid of this connection our messaging+ altogether? Help!

On the phone (Galaxy S4?), open the Messages + app, then tap the top left corner, 3 horizontal bars, and go to Settings. Scroll down to Manage Devices - you should be able to disconnect the LG GPad from there.

To "get rid" of Messages +, you can disable the app on your phone, and then set a different texting app as the default, either the native Messaging or another app you prefer. It's part of Verizon, so you can't uninstall it, but you can disable it.

That's the steps I followed on the g pad but I keep getting that message

that the permissions have to change. I don't understand where to change

those or how.

I don't have messenger+ on the Galaxy.

You need to sync the messages with a phone number....so I just assumed the S4 was the phone you are syncing messages with. Whatever phone you are syncing with is the phone you would need to use to disconnect the GPad. Or you can go to the Messages app on your computer and disconnect the tablet there.

Thanks for your help. I'll try. I synced using the pad do I assumed I'd be

able to disconnect the same way.
