Can I change the theme of new Lollipop on my Galaxy S4?

The unwanted forced injection of all the goofy colored balloons and other changes has rendered my phone highly inefficient, hard to read...and slow. Can't read the names on the colored balloons. I want my old style simple menus back...no balloons or turquoise and yellow and orange colors. Lollipop is a major disaster for me. I need basic, plain menus. No 3D graphics and cutesy stuff. I just want the phone to work...not look like an art gallery while doing it.

You can use 3rd party launchers and apps like Zedge to change some fonts and colors, but for the majority, this is the way it is and you cannot revert to the old colors.

Thank you…hard to believe that the vendor would completely wreck our systems of communication for some of us without practical alternatives in the software. I am so stunned by the inefficiency of this new interface…the cost in response…the inability to read important information under harsh lighting conditions since there is so little contrast in the balloons…I sure miss my old plain menus…no 3D fusion colors that some designer thought would expand our cosmic experience. I cannot express the depth of my unhappiness…or frustration. This was a gross miscalculation…completely failing to consider the spectrum of customer’s practical needs. This one significantly degraded my ability to do my daily job efficiently.

The best advice for anyone having issues post LP upgrade, a factory reset is the best option. It won't change colors, but it will make everything else faster and smoother. Samsung Galaxy S4 hard reset

I sure wish I could get the old fonts and good contrast lettering back.

These pale colors and small letters make it impossible to read names in high light level areas.

What a gross disservice this was to those of us who depend on clear legibility, simple graphics and ease of operation in tough outdoor/dirty job lines of work.

I do appreciate the suggestions for reducing the damage to my efficiency in the field.
