Voicemail indicator will not go off

My voicemail indicator light will not go off. I erased one message, I'm told I have no messages, but it still notifying me that I do. I believe it has something to do with Visual Voicemail, which I do not want, did not ask for, and would like to get off my phone please help

Unsubscribe from visual voicemail within the app, from My Verizon Features tab or by calling or live chatting with Verizon support.

In the upper right corner of the Verizon voicemail app, is a "MORE" button. I notice there's an option to "End Free Trial". I'm hoping that'll work.

You haven't experienced this with regular voicemail at all, I take it?

Sorry, but I ended the free trial yesterday. I think that's when the

problem started. I can't get to regular voicemail on a regular voicemail,

it goes to the visual voicemail page. I'm actually on my way to a Verizon

store now.
