Lg v10 camera lens issue fix

Hey I was wondering if I could cut a piece of screen protector to put over the camera lens or if that would backfire? I have a case but am concerned the lens is still touching surfaces when I set it on its back. Any solutions without making the phone bigger? Kinda major design flaw,,,

It is great to protect your device. It is up to you on how to protect your device.  Some cases are designed to raise the camera lens so it does not touch the surface. If you can make the screen protector fit, it should not damage the phone in anyway, but it may cause clarity issues with your pictures.
