Lg V10 access to lock screens denied?! Halp

I searched for an update( and did it yesterday), but now when I go to switch from entering a pin as the lock screen choice, the top three choices are unavailable (swipe to unlock, knock code, and one other) . Idk if it's related to update but I reset all of the settings and the top three lock choices still say "encrypted" and something about I'm not allowed to access them, they're grayed out with the msg. Please advise me, I went through all of the settings looking for a way to unlock the 3 top lock screen options an don't know if this was something dumb I pushed or an update issue, thanks
