Why can't I put a call on hold?

I have a LG Transpire and I can not find out how to put a call on hold.

Whether I am a on a call or not.

Is there any way to do this?

Good question, jlphone. You cannot put a single call on hold, you would need to be in another call to hold with someone. Let me know if you have any other questions.
