My LG G tablet won't turn on

My LG G pad won't turn on. Not even a year old yet. No water damage. Using original charger but won't connect. Plugged it in last night and it was charging. Woke up this morning and it won't turn on.. Can I go into a Verizon store and have them look at it. I'm not even a full year into the contract with it!!

We need to bring your G pad back to life. We can assist you on here. Have you tried holding the power button and volume down button?

You can take it in to a store if you are more comfortable with that.
