How can I keep my android on 1x to get better signal from our new network extender?

We truly want you to have the best service possible and be able to enjoy receiving the best signal from your network extender. With a device as great as the Droid Maxx it is important that you are able to fully enjoy it. To clarify, do you have the original Droid Maxx or the Droid Maxx 2?
Unfortunately, there is no way to have the Droid Maxx set to 1X however we would love to look into the exact issues you are having. Are you losing connection to the network extender when your device is not in 1X? Please provide additional details.
