When I tap,, in settings, to connect to a WiFi nothing appears on my screen.
Bmfreedman, thank you for testing the phone while in Safe Mode. This helps us getting down to the bottom of this for you. With the phone working currently that let’s us know that the issue is with an application on the phone. I would recommend going into the Google Play Store, My Apps, and take a look to see what apps were recently updated. I would start around the time this problem occurred. If possible start uninstalling updates or apps and test out of safe mode.

I can't live without my WiFi! Bmfreedman let's get your WiFi humming along. When did this first begin? Were there any recent changes to your phone, like a software update or new apps? Is there any physical or liquid damage to the phone?RosanneM_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupportIf my response answered your question please click the Correct Answer button under my response. No software changes, updates, or apps. Just a blank screen when I tap the
WiFi icon. We know the WiFi works in our home since my wife's phone picks
it up with no issues. Her's is an iPhone.
