Verizon insists I owe them $2500 for overage on my data plan last month. After one month of MY calling support they say is was one of my mail accounts that caused this. caused this.

Has anyone had phantom data overages like this?.. and if so what was the outcome?

Fortunately not, but just think how bad it could have been if on 5g. Maybe closer to $25,000

$2500 from a mail or email account ...are you getting video emailed that's a lot of data used just wondering what exactly you use device for including all lines on account ....

If they indicate it is from a mail account they must be able to see how the data is used. You should ask for the source and destination IP addresses to see how/where the traffic was traveling.

I regret to learn about these data overage charges that were incurred. I know it’s vital to make sure that your data charges are accurate. Has anything changed with your data usage? Any recent device updates such as a software update?
